Robert “Bob” Morrissey, 69, died July 13, 2012 at Marion Manor Health Care Center, Glen Ullin.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Bob was born February 5, 1943 in Omaha, NE to Thomas and Evelyn Morrissey. Following his high school graduation he attended Technical School and then enlisted in the US Navy and was discharged due to a disability. On November 10, 1984 he married Laureen Tausend in Mandan. Bob was handy with electronics and did TV repair. He liked to visit, play bingo, reading, watching TV, music, being outdoors, van rides, movies, and animals. In younger years, he liked painting, fishing, pool, board games, crossword puzzles, gardening, and lawn mowing. He enjoyed being in the Recovery Inc. Program at the care center.
Bob is survived by his wife, Laureen, Marian Manor, Glen Ullin; his mother-in-law, Althea Kessel; and brother in laws, Wes Tausend (Linda), Monte Tausend (Linda), and Terrel Tausend (Connie).
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
