Raymon “Ray” Haugen, 28, Mandan, died July 29, 2015.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at First Lutheran Church, Mandan, with Reverend Christina Martin officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Ray was born November 6, 1986 in Mandan to Steve Haugen and Stacey Roth. He attended Mandan Public Schools and received his GED. Ray worked for Northern Improvement and later for a drilling company in the oil field. He loved his job on the rigs and made many friends there. Ray was very social and outgoing. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his son, Connor Ray. Ray enjoyed being outdoors, snowboarding, camping, 4 wheeling, and liked working on vehicles. Ray was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Blessed to have shared his life are his parents; Stacey Roth (Fred Koropatnicki), Mandan and Steve Haugen, Mandan; sister and brother, Lynsee “Chubby” (Jory) Martinez and Tyler Haugen, both of Mandan; his son, Connor Ray Haugen and his mother, Jess Lantz, both of South Heart, ND; grandparents, Rod and Linda Roth and Rose Haugen, all of Mandan; his girlfriend, Jill Kemmet, Mandan; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenny Haugen.
