Matthew Kautzman, 33, of Mandan, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 24, 2015.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Evangel Assembly of God Church, Bismarck, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Matthew Daniel Kautzman was born on July 3, 1981 to Doug and Martha (Margison) Kautzman in Bismarck, ND. He attended school at Sweet Briar School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. He graduated from New Salem High School. Matthew worked with his dad and brothers on the family farm. Life brought him to various other jobs including working in the oil fields as a deckhand. Matthew received an auto mechanics degree from United Tribes Technical College. He worked at a local repair shop for a short time before returning to the family farm to continue farming. Matthew enjoyed reading the Bible, hunting, fishing, gardening and all kinds of mechanical work. He loved watching movies and spending precious time with his nieces and nephews. Matthew will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Left with wonderful memories are his father, Doug Kautzman; his sisters, Melissa Burghart (fiancée, Jeff Kaul) of Mandan, Nicole (Jim) Froelich of Mandan, Georgiann Hersch of Mandan, Elizabeth (Jacob) Gappert of New Salem; his brothers, Virgil (Morgan) Kautzman of Mandan and Michael Kautzman (special friend, Sue) of Mandan; many nieces and nephews; one great-niece and one great-nephew; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha.
