Mary Judt

Mary Judt, 64, Bismarck, died March 9, 2017 at the Baptist Home in Bismarck. She was just 2 weeks shy of her 65th birthday.

Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Baptist Home Chapel, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, March 16 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, with a prayer service and time of sharing at 7 pm. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Baptist Home on Friday. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at 2 pm.

Mary was born March 23, 1952 in Bismarck, ND to Frank and Josephine (Nassif) Judt. She attended Special Education classes in the Mandan Public Schools. In the spring of 1973, at age 21, Mary graduated from the Special Education Class at Mandan High School. During high school Mary enjoyed her work experience in the school kitchen. In 1976 she enrolled in the vocational training program at Pride, Inc. where she did many types of work. In 1988 Mary moved to the Mandan group home and then returned to working full time at the Training Center (now called Workforce Development Center). She enjoyed the varied work this allowed and on Sunday afternoons she could be found working at Perkins wrapping silverware. Mary took trips to Hawaii, Nashville, and Medora. She had great memories and photos of these trips that she liked to share. Mary made many friends and touched countless lives over the years.

Blessed to have shared her life are two sisters, Pat (Doug) Nassif and Fran (Joel) Glasser, all of Bismarck; one brother, Dan Judt, Williston; niece, Mandy (Mike) Dillinger, Boerne, TX; nephew, Douglas V. (Kristi) Nassif, Norfolk, VA; and great nieces and nephew, Ella and Grant Dillinger and Annika Nassif.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
