Judy Krause

Judy Krause, 91, of Mandan, ND passed away Dec. 26^th, 2022 at Miller Pointe Senior Living in Mandan. 

A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, Jan. 3^rd at Mandan United Methodist Church with Pastor Bruce Adams officiating.  Burial will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, one hour prior to time of service at the church.

Laura “Judy” was born June 28, 1931 in Dazey, ND a daughter to Beaumont & Laura (Bender) Stowman.  She graduated from Dazey High School in 1949 and then attended the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Valley City graduating in 1952 as a Registered Nurse.  Judy practiced nursing through the years at the Mandan Hospital, Heartview Foundation, the ND State Penitentiary, and Custer Health Unit.  Judy married Darrell Krause on July 23, 1952 and together they had four children.

She is survived by two sons, Rockie (Carla) Krause and Rory (LeeAnn) Krause; one daughter, Ronda (Joe) Orr;  five grandchildren, Michelle Krause, Mike (Heidi) Krause, Lynn (Jamie) Rath, Troy (Danita) Orr, & Joseph (Jennifer) Orr;  eight grandchildren, Alex Rath, Tyler Rath, Kaden Krause, Kaylee Krause, Christian Orr, Dustin Orr, Josiah Orr, & Jordan Orr.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband (Darrell), infant daughter (Lynn Marie), and two sisters (Beryl and Barbara Stowman).
