Jaydee Wetch, 52, Mandan, died of natural causes on September 29, 2012 at his home.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, where a Celebration of Jaydee’s Life will be held at 7 pm. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date.
Jaydee was born August 30, 1960 to Joe and Lila (Jochim) Wetch of Solen. He grew up in Bismarck, graduating from Bismarck High School in 1978. At the time of his death, Jaydee was employed at the City of Bismarck in the Forestry Department. He also helped his friend Ted Weiss move houses for many years for Weiss House Moving of New Salem. A proud member of ABATE, Jaydee had a great love for motorcycles.
Jaydee leaves one brother, Loren (Janice) Wetch, Mandan; nieces and nephews, Jody Sailer and Jadeen Nemec, Vermillion, SD, Mindy (Brian) Kranig, Cedar Rapids, IA, Jill Sailer, Harrisburg, PA, Kerry (Aaron) Bumgarner, Springfield, MO, Shelly (Jason) Blotsky, Mandan, and Travis (Bridget) Wetch, New Salem; and many great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a very dear friend, Ted Weiss, New Salem. Though they were not brothers, they were closer than any brothers could be. Jaydee’s family is so thankful for the many years of good friendship they shared over the years.
Jaydee was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Joseph; and his sister and her husband, Joann (Martin “Red”) Sailer.
