Frank Ereth Jr., 66, Mandan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with heart failure.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Mandan Baptist Church with Rev. John Wall officiating. Family will be receiving friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 29 at the church.
Frank was born October 23, 1953 to Frank Sr. and Barbara (Kopp) Ereth in Bismarck. Frank graduated from Mandan High School in 1972 and met the love of his life, Gladys Fay Fischer, in July of that summer. They were married November 17, 1972 at the Beulah Congregational Church. From this union they were blessed with three children, Pamela, Frank, and Stacey.
Frank worked many jobs through the years, but his favorite was working in law enforcement. He loved to cook and was always trying new things. He loved having family and friends over so he could cook for them. His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather. He always made each of his grandkids feel so special in their own way. Frank had many other passions in life including, hunting, fishing, and weapon collecting.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Gladys; his children, Pamela Ereth, Frank (Bridget) Ereth, and Stacey (Jon) Berthiaume; grandchildren, Nikki, Ryan, Isabella, Taylor, Ella, Jesse, Bryson, Sophia, Dylan, Easton, and Cora; one great-grandchild, Kaylee; his sisters, Margo Ereth, Joanne Kelsch, and Judy Martin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Barbara; brothers, Tom Joblinski and Harold Ereth; and sisters, Rosella Emil, Beverly Patten, and Sheila Graf.
