Frances Koch, 75, Mandan, died August 23, 2015 at Sanford on Sunset Care Center, Mandan.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with Reverend Shane Campbell celebrating. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Frances was born July 5, 1940 in Elgin, ND to Phillip and Katherine (Hoerner) Klein. She was raised on the family farm near Elgin and attended school. She moved to Mandan after she was married and had five children. Frances loved crafts, embroidery, and playing bingo. Very friendly, she liked socializing and visiting with friends was a big part of her life. She also enjoyed listening to polka and waltz music.
Blessed to have shared her life are three daughters, Caroline, Bismarck, Linda (John), Richardton, and Julie (Fran), Jamestown; two sons, Kevin, Mandan and Kenneth, Mandan; one brother, Edward (Vickie), Hazelton; grandchildren, Travis (Jess) and their children, Mariah and Tanner, Mandan; Casey (Heather) and their daughter, Libby, Bismarck; LeAnn (Gabe) and their daughters, Emily and Kathryn, Grand Forks; Clifford, Bismarck; Christine (Pat), Stanley, Crystal Williams, Abagaile Koch, and Micheal Koch; two sister-in-laws, Adeline and Lorraine; her special friend, Mary Ellen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
