Florence Ferderer

Florence E. Ferderer, 89, of Mandan, ND died October 18, 2014 at her residence under the care of hospice. A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home in Mandan with Pastor Bruce Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of service. Florence was born January 1, 1925 in Cooperstown, ND to Hallie & Olive (Newell) Wall. She moved with her family to Mandan in 1935. Florence graduated from Mandan High School in 1942. She married Ralph F. Ferderer and they made their home in Mandan raising two children, twins Mary & Jack. Florence worked as a Personnel Officer at the North Dakota Dept. of Health for 43 years. She truly loved her dogs and spending time with her grandson, Josh. Florence was a member of the Mandan Eagles Club and the Bismarck/Mandan Elks Lodge. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Mary & Curt Hannaman of Mandan; one grandson, Josh Hannaman of Moorhead, MN, and her companion dog, Itty Bitty. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Ralph), son (Jack), and a brother (Bill Wall). In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Central Dakota Humane Society (2104 37th St., Mandan, ND 58554).
