Evelyn Foster, 82, of Mandan, died January 12, 2017, at Sanford Health in Bismarck.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home in Mandan. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Evelyn was born December 25, 1934, in Mandan, ND to Archie and Rose (Wetsch) Reynolds. Evelyn attended school in Mandan. At the age of 15, she started her 50 year career of working in the food industry.
Evelyn married Gale Foster on October 14, 1955, in Mandan, ND, where they continued to live and established their home. Evelyn was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She also enjoyed cards, bingo, crafts, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Blessed to have shared her life are her four children, Connor (Darla) Phoenix, AZ; Mike, Bismarck; Mark (DeeAnn) Bismarck; Becky Hayek (Jimmy Lister), Mandan; grandchildren, Jon-Connor (Clarrissa) Foster, Monterrey, MX; Amy Foster, Phoenix, AZ; Elizabeth Foster, Tempe, AZ; Matt (Savannah) Foster, Mandan; Breanna (Gabe) Hartfield, Bismarck; Alexis Eberle, Bismarck; Jessica (Lincoln) Hagen, Bismarck; Travis (Kellie) Foster, Mandan; Sarah (Tim)Brooks, Dilworth, MN; 14 great grandchildren; and her sister, Susie Zeibarth, Roseburg, OR.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gale; two children, Steven and Sandra; grandson, Alex Eberle; her parents; six brothers; and one sister.
