Eva F. Doll, age 84 of Bismarck, formerly of Mandan & New Salem, died May 23, 2014 at her residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan. A time of fellowship and lunch will follow at the Mandan Eagles Club, 1400 Collins Avenue. Interment will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM Thursday. Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of service at the church.
Eva was born July 11, 1929 in Mandan a daughter to Jacob & Catherine (Boehm) Stein. She grew up in Mandan and graduated from Mandan High School in 1948. On October 12, 1948 Eva married Frederick “Fritz” Doll in New Salem. Together they farmed northeast of New Salem until retiring in 1977. Following the death of her husband “Fritz” in 2001, Eva made her home in Bismarck to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed painting, crafts, reading, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her six children, Patrick (Kathy) Doll of New Salem, Wayne (Joy) Doll of Mandan, Kim (Lance) Sabot of Bismarck, Sylvia (Keith) Bayley of Bismarck, Col. Jeffrey (Karen) Doll of Fort Dix, New Jersey, & Randy (Tammy) Doll of Finley, ND; thirteen grandchildren, Chad Doll of Bismarck, Stacy (Marty) Jepsen of Minnesota, Chase (Nicole) Doll of Minnesota, Nicole (Al) Christian of Bismarck, Melissa (Nathan) Davis of New Salem, Troy, William, Eric, & Andrew Sabot, all of Bismarck, Sydney Bayley of Costa Mesa, CA, Logan Bayley of Bismarck, and Jake & Sadie Doll of Finley, ND; twelve great-grandchildren, Dawson, Landon, Grace, Catelyn, Cooper, Carter, Keaton, Larson, Savannah, Axel, Braxton, & Brady; one brother, Frank Stein of Ontario, CA; and four sisters, Linda, Clem, Fronnie, & Mary, all of California.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Monica & Minnie; & two brothers, Teddy & Jack.
