Donna Dombrowsky

Donna Dombrowsky, 70, Mandan, died December 4th, 2024 at Sanford Health in Bismarck following a series of strokes.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday December 12th, 2024 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with Reverend Stephanie officiating. Cremation has taken place and the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. 

Donna was born January 13, 1954 in Mandan to Francis and Cecelia (Lantz) Renner. Raised and educated in Mandan, she graduated from Mandan High School in 1972. On November 8, 1986 she married David Dombrowsky. They made their home in Mandan where they shared their lives and raised their two children. Donna was known for her infectious laugh that could be recognized across the room. She always had a smile on her face. She was shy but could make friends anywhere. She enjoyed spending time at home with her family and her cats. She loved black Friday shopping with her daughter, Karissa, and best friend, Marianne Pulkrabek. She retired from Laducer and Associates after working there for around 30 years. She spent her retirement time at home with her son, Eric, watching her favorite crime shows and enjoying visits from her grandkids, Savanna and Gunnar Mertz.

Blessed to have shared her life with her husband of 28 years, David Dombrowsky, Mandan; daughter, Karissa (Dombrowsky) Mertz (Shawn Mertz), Bismarck; son, Eric Dombrowsky, Mandan. Preceded in death by husband David Dombrowsky, Mandan; brother Roger Renner; California, Bob Renner; West Virginia, Sue (Renner) Oberlander; South Dakota.
