Donna Baron

Donna Baron, 59, died September 2, 2018, in the Knife River Care Center, Beulah, ND.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, with Rev. Ron Hildahl officiating.  Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Donna was born December 17, 1958, in Bismarck, ND, to John E. and Violet (Tietz) Baron.  She grew up in Mandan, graduating from Mandan High School.  She then went on to BSC and continued her education at UND in Grand Forks, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.  She returned home to Mandan, working as a manager in different capacities.

Donna was like a second mother to all of her family.  She had such a large heart and was always putting others before herself.  Whether taking care of her parents or always being there for her sisters, nieces, and nephew.  Donna was always there with a lending hand and open heart.  She was an avid sports fan, as growing up with her mother she said she had no other choice!

Blessed to have shared her life are her sisters, Diane (Ron) Meidinger, Rockford, IL and Debra (Eric) Kraft, San Marcos, CA; her nieces, Jennifer Reider and Brittany Meidinger Swift; and her nephew, Isaac (Emily) Meidinger; along with her great nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, John and Violet; and a brother, Daniel.
