Dolores K. Ochsner, 85, Mandan, died January 2, 2013 at Sanford on Sunset, Mandan.
Private family services were held. Her wishes were to donate her body to the UND School of Medicine. Burial will take place at a later date at the Montana Veterans Cemetery, Billings, MT.
Dolores was born June 30, 1927 in Bismarck to Everett and Catherine (Walter) Davis. She was raised in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School. On February 19, 1946 she married Paul R. Ochsner in Bismarck and they had five children. Dolores enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. A wonderful cook, she was very proud to have managed a café in the Billings Courthouse in the late 1970’s. Dolores always enjoyed visiting with the customers, who praised her great cooking. She also did home daycare and grew very close to the children she cared for.
Survivors include her three daughters, Paula (Clifford) Frohlich, Mandan, ND, Patricia Ochsner, Enid, OK, and Jacqueline (Duane) Pegar, Billings, MT; two sons, Jeffrey (Cindy) Ochsner, Billings, MT and Jerald Ochsner, Westchester, PA; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband in December 1969; her parents; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and one grandson.
