Darlene Kramer

Darlene Mae Kramer, 84, Bismarck, passed away July 31, 2022, at Sanford Health in Bismarck.

Per Darlene’s request, no services will be held.

Darlene was born May 25, 1938, to Frank and Rose Shimek.  In 1958, she married Donald Kramer, whom she met at a dance at Casa Loma in New Salem.  Together they raised their four children on the Kramer farm west of New Salem.  They spent 62 years together sharing many dances, laughs, and memories.

Darlene is survived by her children, Alan Kramer, Kevin Kramer, and Joanne Schafer; son-in-law, Myron (Renita) Steckler; grandchildren, Alycia Kramer, Kayde Schafer (Taylor Dutton), Tyler Steckler, and Kristina Steckler (Emett Diede); great-grandchildren, Hadley, Bridger, and Sawyer; sisters, Judy Cox, Ardis Harsche, and Sarah Chadwick; and brother, Dan Spilovoy.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and daughter, Marlys Steckler.

Memorials are preferred to the Central Dakota Humane Society, 2104 37 ^th St, Mandan, ND 58554.
