Dale L. Michaelson, 74, Mandan, died July 30, 2017 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Dale was born November 11, 1942 in Voltaire, ND to LeRoy and Ruth (Johnson) Michaelson. At a young age he learned to play cards, a hobby he enjoyed all of his life. He also liked to hunt and fish, especially in Alaska. Dale worked in construction for numerous companies over the years. He was a construction project manager for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 26 years. On December 19, 1998 Dale married Kathy Phillips in Las Vegas.
Blessed to have shared his life is his wife, Kathy Michaelson, Mandan; two step-sons, Nicholas Phillips, WA and Cody Hanson, Ketchikan, Alaska; and three sisters, Donna Mae Michaelson, Voltaire, ND, Kay (Richard) Mikkelson, Mandan, and Karen (Marlin) Latimer, Voltaire, ND.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Beverly (Charles) Liquin, Shirley Michaelson, Betty Lou (Raymond) Scott, and Peggy Michaelson.
