Bridgetta Flemmer, 76, Mandan, died March 15, 2014 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 20th at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home in Mandan with Pastor Jack Carlson officiating. Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M Thursday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Bridgetta “Bridget” was born November 23, 1937 in Fort Rice, ND to Michael & Emma (Burns) Sullivan. She attended school in both Hazen and Stanton, ND. On March 16, 1957 she married Ted Flemmer at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mandan. They made their home in Mandan for many years where she was active in her children and grandchildren’s school activities. She had a special way with children and was well received by them. Bridget was very much loved and will be missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Flemmer of Mandan; two daughters, Mona (Nick) Adams of Orlando, FL & Myra Flemmer of Fargo, ND; two sons, Mark (Dawn) Flemmer of Minnesota & Marv Flemmer of Mandan; 13 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Heck of Mandan & Emma Fedie of Wisconsin; two brothers, Mike (Annette) Sullivan & Jerry (June) Sullivan, both of Wisconsin; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Pat Sullivan & Larry Burns, and one sister, Winifred Kopp.
