Bette Buehler, 89, Bismarck, formerly of Mandan, passed away on August 27, 2014 at her home with her beloved husband of 69 years by her side.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at First Lutheran Church, Mandan, with Reverend Lee Herberg officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, with a prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.
Elizabeth Ann “Bette” was born December 18, 1924 in Mandan to Harold and Elizabeth (Frohlich) Blandin. She graduated from Mandan High School. On June 16, 1945 she married Warren Buehler in Astoria, Oregon. Bette was a member of First Lutheran Church of Mandan. A talented artist, Bette enjoyed painting.
Blessed to have shared her life is her husband, Warren Buehler, Bismarck; daughter, Ann (Nathan) Dahl, Stillwater, MN; son, Paul (Lorraine) Buehler, Mandan; 3 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Bette was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
