Adah Lee McFerran, 92, Bismarck, died April 29, 2018, at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Adah was born May 14, 1925, in Colome, South Dakota to Howard and Hope Cadwell. She married Benoni (Mick) McFerran on December 31, 1943. After WWII, the couple settled in Mandan.
Adah is survived by her husband, Benoni; three daughters and spouses, Paulette and Vern Unrath, Pat and John Northrop, and Penny and Jeff Downey; four granddaughters, Tammy Bell (Wayne), Samantha Ketterling, Jen DeKok, and Jessie Northrop; two grandsons, Mike Hoff (Jenelle) and Curt Hoff (Nancy); ten great grandchildren, Amanda Heim (Reggie), Kayla Salinger (Jordan), Ryan and Megan Broeckel, Rylee and Hannah Bell, Hunter and Jake Graff, and Cade and Luke Hoff; two great-great grandchildren, Aubrey Heim and Bentley Broeckel; and one brother, Edgar Cadwell, Minneapolis, MN.
Adah was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Hope Cadwell; her brother, Curtis Cadwell; and her granddaughter, Melanie Broeckel.
Family prefers memorials to The Salvation Army.
