Brenda Olzweski

Brenda (Bornemann) Olzweski of Mandan, ND, (age 70) passed away April 28, 2022, under the care of Hospice. No memorial services will be held.

Brenda was born October 26, 1951, to Donald and Bernice (Golde) Bornemann of Hannover, ND. She attended St. Peter's Lutheran School in Hannover through 8th grade, and graduated from Center High School.

Brenda married James Olzweski on November 24, 1973, and they were blessed with two children, Jadin and Deanna. They made their home in Mandan where Brenda loved to tend her garden and her cats. Brenda loved caring for others and was a personal caregiver and daycare provider for many years before working at Walmart.

Brenda is survived by her husband Jim; son, Jadin Olzweski, Springfield MO; daughter, Deanna Olzweski, Mandan; and two grandchildren: Marlee Olzweski and Parker Olzweski. Also surviving are her siblings: Thomas (Jean) Bornemann, Beulah, Susan (Carl) Jacobson, Mandan, Judy Stepak, Bellingham, WA, and Paul (Greta) Bornemann, North Bend, WA; and many nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and brother-in-law, Casey Stepak.
