HISTORY

Earliest records indicate that Kennelly Funeral Home began operation in 1903 in connection with the family owned furniture store. Two generations of Kennellys operated the business, until an employee, Warren Buehler, purchased it in 1954 and it became Buehler Funeral Home. The business was moved from the downtown Mandan to it’s present location on Sunset Drive in 1976. Gary and Pat Larson purchased the business form Mr. Buehler in 1989. Buehler-Larson Funeral Home remains Mandan’s only family owned, independent funeral home, serving all faiths and traditions from its inception in 1903.
