When my mother was in the nursing home at New Salem, we would visit her and George was always there working on a puzzle or to sing a song or two or three. He was very entertaining to listen to him singing or just to visit with. When my mother was dying, George was a welcome relief for my whole family. He always had something witty to say or a comment that would help get us through the hours of waiting. He was truly an angel and I am sure that he will be greatly missed by the people at the nursing home. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. God Bless but be sure that George is with God singing “The Man on the Flying Trapeze” (which was an all time favorite of my sisters and I) to all.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather and father-in-law. I am in Indianapolis or I would attend the funeral. My sympathy to all of you. No matter the age the loss of a parent is always hard. Just remember all the good memories. Clendora.

My parents were good freinds with your Dad and Mom. My parents were Cliffored and Bernice Anderson from Dodge. I remember your Mom and Dad always seemed very happy. My husband remembers he was a hunter and they would talk guns.
Our condolences go out to your family.
